Depression
When you are feeling depressed, you may feel you have lost interest in doing things that you would normally find worth while or interesting , have low self worth, low energy, lack of concentration and poor concentration and problems sleeping. There are also different degrees of depression..mild ,moderate and severe.
Depression and anxiety can accompany each other. One in four people can be affected at some point in their life.
The traditional view is that depression happens due to a chemical imbalance but new research has shown that negative thinking styles, not having the right set of coping skills or not having our emotional need or aspirations and goals met, can cause us to shut down and a chemical imbalance can happen here.
You can learn to identify the triggers to anxiety and depression. In a session we will talk about your particular emotional needs and identify areas in your life where your goals and expectations are not being met and agree on how you could do things differently in order to meet these needs/goals. Through hypnosis we can also identify and remove any blocks that are preventing you from doing so.
